About NWUSA
Founded in 2002. A nonprofit built on access, community, and over two decades of youth soccer.
Our Story
North West United Soccer Academy (NWUSA) was founded in 2002 and has been a long-standing member in good standing of the Oregon Youth Soccer Association. For over two decades, we have been a cornerstone of youth soccer in the Portland, Gresham, and Vancouver communities.
We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization โ and that shapes everything we do. Our mission isn't revenue. It's access. Every dollar we bring in goes back into making high-quality soccer available to the families who need it most.
Soccer in America is changing. Rising club fees and pay-to-play culture have quietly transformed a working-class sport into one increasingly reserved for families with financial means. We think that's wrong. We've spent over 20 years doing something about it, serving players from U5 through U15 at a cost that reflects our community โ not the market rate.
Our History
Our history speaks for itself. In 2015, our U-13 boys team won the US Club Soccer National Cup championship. We have helped launch and develop other clubs throughout the region. We have watched kids grow up in our program and now welcome their own children onto the same fields.
When you partner with NWUSA, your investment goes directly toward keeping the door open for every kid who loves this game.
